Steven and Shirley are currently in the process of preparing themselves to be sent to Tanzania. Part of this is spiritual as they order their lives around God's calling for them to Africa. Another way they are getting ready is stewarding their finances in order to be as close to debt free as they can when they step on board that airplane. As strict and as spartan as they budget themselves there still is a need.
Three years ago, when returning from their missionary work in Ukraine, they reassumed the mortgage they had sold to an investor before they left. With the economic downturn, their house is now worth 80,000 less than what is owed on it. With budgeting and help from God, they intend to be entirely debt free in 9 months except for their mortgage.
Since they can't sell the house they've decided to rent it out. Wanting to remain friends & family with their friends & family, they have listed their house with Tower Property Resources LLC in Tucson.
